Texas A&M football’s Maroon and White Game is coming up on April 14, and there are a few positions you should keep your eye on more than others.

The unofficial start of the Jimbo Fisher era is this Saturday, April 14 as Texas A&M will host its annual Maroon And White game, also known as the Spring Game. Given there is so much turnover from the coaching staff, one could be quick to assume Jimbo and his assistants will be the biggest storyline.

That may be the case, but at the end of the day the team will live or die with the players on the field. It’s Fisher’s job to get the most out of his guys.

A&M is coming off a 7-6 year which followed three straight 8-5 seasons. Fisher won’t have a quick hook by any means, but he needs to be at least better than Sumlin in year one or he could have a revolt from the fans. He will also have critics coming after him and his Texas-sized, $75 million contract if the Aggies don’t perform at a high level.

The Aggies are hyping this game and the start of Fisher’s tenure up to the max. Admission to the Maroon And White Game will be free of charge (except for the suites), and the atmosphere will be treated like any normal Saturday in the fall.

So which positions should you have your eye on as the players take each other on? Let’s examine.
