No. 47 overall: Arizona Cardinals
The Arizona Cardinals moved up to take the chippy Josh Rosen with the No. 10 overall pick, now they need to go out and get him some weapons to throw to. Ageless wonder Larry Fitzgerald is still on the Cardinals, but there isn’t much behind him.
Chad Williams, J.J. Nelson and Brice Butler are solid backups, but the Cardinals need someone that will scare opposing defenses. Kirk represents that with his elite speed and quickness.
No. 50 overall: Dallas Cowboys
Some thought Kirk would be a target with the Dallas Cowboys’ 19th overall pick, but they went with linebacker Leighton Vander Esch instead. The Cowboys will be looking to replace Dez Bryant‘s production, whom they let go due to his declining play over the past three seasons.
Kirk is strong and would fit the Cowboys’ identity, which is to be physical and methodically move the ball down the field. He can take the top off a defense, sure, but he’ll also get open in tight windows and move the chains for Dak Prescott.
