1. Mike Evans

Overshadowed by his quarterback, Mike Evans quietly became the most dominant wide receiver in Aggie history. He had size (6-foot-5), speed, and big play ability. In two seasons at Texas A&M Evans caught 17 touchdowns.

He finished second in the SEC (seventh in the nation) in 2013 with a whopping 20.2 yards per catch. Johnny Manziel was spectacular, but part of his brilliance has to be credited to Evans who had a knack of being able to out jump everyone when the ball was in the air.

A highlight reel waiting to happen, Evans pulled in a 95 yard touchdown reception against the Crimson Tide (above). That catch was one of seven grabs on the day for number 13, which would result in 279 yards.

If that wasn’t impressive enough he topped it a few weeks later. In a loss to Auburn, Evans caught 11 passes for 287 yards and four touchdowns. That made him the second Aggie ever to catch four touchdown passes in one game.

Evans was drafted No. 7 overall by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 2014 NFL draft following his final season at Texas A&M in 2013. That year he finished second in the SEC in receiving yards (1,394), fourth in receptions (69), and first in receiving touchdowns (12).
