@ Alabama Crimson Tide — September 22

Yes, the Aggies did go into Tuscaloosa in 2012 and upend the Crimson Tide, but I don’t see anyone with the talent level of a Johnny Football on this roster. While I believe Trayveon Williams is a Heisman Trophy dark horse candidate in 2018, he won’t affect the game the way Manziel did. Alabama is just too good.

The Tide are even better at home. In the last 10 years, Alabama has only lost four times at home, and only once since that November 10, 2012 game that shocked the world. It’s just damn near impossible to go into that stadium and get a win. It would be even harder to come in and do it in year one for a head coach, even if that coach has won a national championship before.

Having said all of that, this game won’t be a blowout. A&M will be able to stay in the game for some time before Alabama seals it late. The Clemson win and hanging around with Bama will prove to the college football world that A&M is here to stay.

Prediction: Tide 31 – Aggies 20

Overall record: 5-1
