Arkansas Razorbacks (in Dallas) — September 29

A&M has had Arkansas’ number since joining the SEC. Kevin Sumlin went 6-0 against the Razorbacks, including three overtime wins with the Aggies tying the game late in all three. In one of those wins, A&M came back from a 28-14 deficit, in another they were down 21-13 before a touchdown and two-point conversion sent it to OT.

Bottom line? This squad is not afraid of Arkansas and has battled back time and time again to win. Arkansas finished 4-8 last season and is not expected to be a threat in 2018. This game was a candidate for the “definite win” category, but one should never take a SEC West opponent lightly (that might be the understatement of the year).

The fact that this game is in Dallas every year (and also in September…) might be unfair to Arkansas. It’s mostly an A&M crowd each time. Getting this game back to home and home might give Arkansas a chance at some point down the road. Then again, maybe it wouldn’t.

Prediction: Aggies 41 – Razorbacks 24

Overall record: 6-1
