Texas A&M Football: Best uncommitted 2019 recruits with Aggies high on their list
By Jeff Shull
Jimbo Fisher has Texas A&M football in a great spot for the 2019 recruiting class, but these recruits could make it even better.
When Jimbo Fisher took over Texas A&M football, most assumed the tangible differences between he and former coach Kevin Sumlin would be seen on the field. Sumlin was always in the thick of it when it came to Texas recruits and had a top 20 recruiting class in each season as the Aggies’ head coach.
Fisher is proving to be a world of difference thus far and dominating in a way no one saw coming, except perhaps the coaching staff.
June has been a month on fire for Fisher and his recruiters. They were already ranked high but had several important recruits give their verbal to Texas A&M, which has vaulted them No. 2 on the current 2019 recruiting class rankings (they were No. 3 before the month).
Important to note that the month of June created some distance between the Aggies and the classes just below them, but also they have creeped up on Alabama for the top spot. The Crimson Tide was running away with the class previously.
Maybe the best news possible about this class is it’s far from over. There are several recruits who have yet to make their decision, and specifically Texas A&M has more than a handful with offers who have the Aggies high on their list.
Alabama obviously has their share of players who have yet to commit to that powerhouse, but there is plenty of time and it’s not out of the realm of possibility to see A&M rise to that No. 1 spot.
If that is going to happen, most of these guys will have to follow through on their current crystal ball predictions. Here is a list of eight players from the 2019 class who have the Aggies high on their list.
