The current 2019 class is missing a running back, but that could change with Texas A&M legacy Isaiah Spiller. His father, Fred Spiller, played tight end for the Aggies in the early 2000s (which makes me feel very, very old).
Spiller committed to Oklahoma back in November of 2017 amidst all the uncertainty with the head coaching situation, but de-committed on April 4 of this year. Since that day, A&M has jumped from No. 8 to No. 2 in the 2019 class rankings, and A&M leaped over Oklahoma. The Sooners remain in the mix for Spiller, but it would be difficult to see him choosing that offense over Fisher’s, which tends to favor the running back.
