Texas A&M football has some big names coming back for the 2018 season, but these guys you may not have heard of could impact their season.

While Texas A&M football might not be at the level of Alabama when it comes to elite talent entering the 2018 season, this could be the deepest team A&M has put on the field in quite some time.

17-18 players who earned starts are returning for the 2018 season. The key losses were only Christian Kirk, Armani Watts, Damian Ratley, Zaycoven Henderson, Priest Willis, and Koda Martin. A&M is set up to replace each and every one of those players thanks to solid recruiting by both Kevin Sumlin and Jimbo Fisher

The Aggies will boast a very formidable front seven. All three starting linebackers and six of the front seven return. Now, it remains to be seen what kind of formation Mike Elko will run (he typically ran a 4-2-5 in his previous stops). However, Elko has been adamant about not running one scheme, but rather playing matchups week to week.

A&M also returns Donovan Wilson, who missed basically all of the 2017 season, and a multitude of cornerbacks who saw the field.

You probably knew a lot of that already. But since the intro referenced this team’s depth, let’s have a look at just that. These are five under-the-radar players to watch in the upcoming season.
