Texas A&M Football: 5 underrated players to watch in 2018

Kendrick Rogers
A lot of the talk — and rightly so — regarding the Aggie wide receivers has been Jhamon Ausbon. He was the No. 73 recruit in the 2017 class so naturally it’s expected he will replace Kirk’s production this season.
But Kendrick Rogers is going to play a massive role in the passing offense as well. He is the most likely candidate to line up opposite Ausbon on the outside, but will receive way less attention. The redshirt sophomore had only 11 catches for 99 yards in his first season but had eight catches, 90 yards and a touchdown in the Spring Game.
He is 6-foot-5 and will be one of the better red zone threats on the team this season. He made one of the more impressive catches in the Maroon And White Game (video above) that set up his game-winning touchdown grab.

Ausbon could be the starting quarterback’s go-to receiver, but Rogers will have every opportunity to make plays.
