The Aggies got a bit of a shock when Koda Martin announced he was transferring in the middle of spring. It came after he suffered a heat stroke during a practice and it was nearly fatal. It must have scared Martin enough to get away from the heat because he transferred to Syracuse to play where his father is an assistant coach.
Either way, sophomore Dan Moore slid into Martin’s left tackle spot and redshirt sophomore Kellen Diesch slid over from right tackle to back Moore up. Keaton Sutherland is a solid starter at right tackle but also played left guard. He or any one of, Diesch, Carson Green or Grayson Reed could get the start in Week 1.
As much as the Aggies offensive line struggled a year ago, you have to believe one more year together and a year with Jim Turner coaching them will turn things around. Blanton could sit out a year.
