Texas A&M Football: Meet the Aggie leading a defensive culture change
Playing Time and Jordan Moore
With the return of Donovan Wilson from an ACL injury and Derrick Tucker having a solid freshman season, O’Neal may not get the playing time he thinks he deserves. He should still come in the game fairly often. Playmakers always find a way to get on the field and if anything, Leon is a playmaker.
Another incoming freshman defensive back is Jordan Moore. Moore and O’Neal are good friends and seem to have developed a brotherhood that all coaches want their position groups to have. There aren’t many things that are more powerful than a bond between two football players, especially when they run the same drills and have many of the same goals.
Moore and O’Neal are determined to lead a DB revolution in Aggieland. The Ags haven’t produced a truly elite defensive back in a good while. If it’s going to be anyone to change that unfortunate trend, I’d say these guys could do it.
