Texas A&M football is set to take the field on Thursday night to kickoff the 2018 season; here are three players to watch.

It’s been too long, Ags. You’ve been patient, I know. Your Battered Aggie Syndrome (B.A.S.) has taken its toll on you since Bowl season, but alas, here we are. We’ve come to the eve of the 2018 Texas A&M football season. However, this season, things are a little bit different.

Expectations are in different places, our offense has been totally flipped and flopped, and we will now be using these antique objects called fullbacks and tight ends. The coaching staff is brand-spankin‘ new and recruiting is at an all-time high. Things are looking up here in Aggieland and the 12th Man couldn’t be more excited.

It’s Time.

There is nothing quite like a preseason hype video. It’s enough to make you run through a brick wall for your team.

While we at the Gig ‘Em Gazette realize that every player is imperative to a win, we also know that each week there are a handful of players whose roles are emphasized a little bit more than others.

Each week, we will bring you a list of three key players who we think will have those emphasized roles during that week’s game. Opening up this week’s list aren’t players at all. So, this week, in light of the return of college football, we are bringing you a whopping SIX key people. The 2018 season starts off with the head coaches facing each other, our Jimbo Fisher and Brad Laird of NSU.
