3. Landis Durham

Speaking of the pass defense, one thing that has been a shocker this season is the lack of pass rush. A&M was No. 2 in the nation in sacks per game last season, but so far have been credited with just five sacks in three games. Four of those came against Louisiana-Monroe.

This scouting website believes they should not have even been credited for those sacks.

NCAA defensive statistics are sometimes inaccurate. Either way, anyone who has watched the Aggies this season knows they haven’t been generating the same pass rush as they did last season. That starts with Landis Durham.

Durham tied for the SEC lead in sacks in 2017. He either only has one sack or, if you believe the tweet above, he actually has none.

He will face off with Alabama left tackle Jonah Williams during the game. Williams could be a first round draft pick next year if he declares. The Aggies can ill afford to let Tagovailoa just sit in the pocket comfortably and pick them apart. Durham and the rest of the defensive line need to show up.
