There isn’t much going right for Jeremy Pruitt this year and I don’t see anything changing when they travel to Auburn. Auburn’s offense has struggled but their defense and special teams will do enough to come away with the win. Pruitt’s familiarity and reports of locker room issues in Auburn will keep the game closer than the line. The 17 might come in the form of a backdoor cover.

Auburn finally gets the offense going against a Tennessee team struggling in all facets of the game.

Recent losses and reports of division in Auburn’s locker room have been concerning. However, Auburn has a very talented team on both sides of the football. While I don’t expect Auburn to cover, they should win this in a close game.

Auburn is coming off a road loss to Mississippi state. They are back at home this week, and although they didn’t look great a week ago, I think they get back on track vs a struggling Tennessee team.

Auburn has wholly underwhelmed halfway through this season. Once an outside playoff threat, the Tigers are out of the picture after a bad loss in Starkville against Mississippi State. Their lone conference win in three tries comes against Arkansas, who will be battling it out with Ole Miss for the SEC West cellar. That said, things are still rocky on Rocky Top. The Vols have yet to score more than 21 points on an SEC opponent. Auburn gets back in the win column.
