If you’re heading to Columbia for the Texas A&M football game against South Carolina, here’s the weather report for the game Saturday afternoon.

South Carolina enters the game against Texas A&M football 3-2 after beating Missouri on a last second field goal 37-35. The Gamecocks are 2-2 in conference play, their other conference victory came against Vanderbilt. For the Aggies, they enter 4-2 and 2-1 in conference after a big win at Kyle Field against No. 13 Kentucky.

Before we get to the weather report, here’s a little history regarding the match up. The Aggies lead the series 4-0, all four games have been played since the Aggies joined the Southeastern Conference. The Aggies won 52-28 in 2014, 35-28 in 2015, 24-13 in 2016 and 24-17 last year.

With that in mind, we wanted to remind all Aggies and Gamecocks to pay attention to this weekend’s weather report in case you plan on tailgating before the game. Maybe for the first time all year, the threat of rain is actually non-existent.

For those planning on a day of festivities, it will be mostly sunny for most of the day with the temperature around 55 when you wake up. At kickoff, the temperature should be around 75 degrees. The heat index will be around 80 degrees, but will slowly decrease as the game continues.

The UV index and cloud cover will be relatively low all day so the day should be very pleasant. The humidity will also be low come kickoff. It will start around 77 percent when you wake up, but will be in the mid 40’s by kickoff.

After the game, the temperature should be around 68 degrees with a zero percent chance of rain. Once again, the wind will not be much of a factor, it should blow the same all day right around 5-10 miler per hour.
