SEC West Week 8 predictions, picks against the spread

Texas A&M football is on a bye, so this week’s SEC West predictions and picks against the spread come without the Aggies. The picks must go on.
Texas A&M football enters their bye week on a three-game winning streak and in a perfect position to load up for the stretch run. They have several important players who could get healthy during this week off and it will help them in back-to-back road games at Mississippi State and Auburn. Even though the Aggies are off, the SEC West picks must go on.
There are a couple of interesting matchups between division foes this weekend. LSU looks to avoid looking ahead to Alabama against a Mississippi State team needing to continue improving after their big win over Auburn, and the Tigers have to bounce back against Ole Miss after a disastrous start to the conference slate.
But before we get into the Week 8 picks, here is the recap from our Week 7 selections.
