If you’re heading to Starkville for the Texas A&M football game against Mississippi State, here’s the weather report for the game Saturday evening.

Mississippi State enters the game against Texas A&M football 4-3 after losing to LSU in Baton Rouge 19-3. The Bulldogs are 1-3 in conference play, their only conference victory came against Auburn two weeks ago. For the Aggies, they enter 5-2 and 3-1 in conference after a big win in Columbia against South Carolina.

Before we get to the weather report, here’s a little history regarding the match up. The Bulldogs lead the series 6-5, winning three of the last four. The Aggies won 30-17 in 2015, 51-41 in 2013 and 38-13 in 2012 since joining the conference. The other two wins for A&M came back in 1912 and 1937.

With that in mind, we wanted to remind all Aggies and Bulldogs to pay attention to this weekend’s weather report in case you plan on tailgating before the game.

For those planning on a day of festivities, it will be mostly sunny for most of the day with the temperature around 50 degrees when you wake up. At kickoff, the temperature should be around 60 degrees with the high for the day approaching the high 60’s.

The UV index and cloud cover will be relatively low all day so the day should be very pleasant. The humidity will also be low come kickoff. It will start around 80 percent when you wake up, but will be in the mid 50’s by kickoff.

After the game, the temperature should be in the low 50’s with a zero percent chance of rain. Once again, the wind will not be much of a factor, it should blow the same all day right around 5-10 miler per hour.

There’s your weather report for the Mississippi State game, once again, be safe, have fun and let’s BTHOMississippiState.
