Alabama Crimson Tide at LSU Tigers

Saturday, November 3 at 7:00pm CT; Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, LA

TV: CBS; Line: Alabama -14; Over/Under: 52.5

Jeff Shull

It’s hard for me to believe Tua Tagovailoa and that potent offense is held to less than 30 points, and also hard to believe LSU doesn’t keep the score close in a night game at Tiger Stadium. If LSU is going to keep it close, their defense has to play lights out. Take LSU and the under here, but Alabama will win outright.

I like Bama to win, but struggle with whether they can go into Baton Rouge and cover. I say no, LSU will play with great emotion, but ultimately, quarterback Joe Burrow cannot make enough plays to keep up with Tua.

This is the game of the week and probably the best matchup thus far this season. LSU and Alabama both have top 10 defenses in terms of scoring. But LSU doesn’t have a Hawaiian quarterback that has been damn-near perfect. Alabama wins, but LSU will be able to cover at home.
