Kellen Mond won’t throw an interception

Unike the rest of these predictions, there isn’t a whole lot of data that would suggest this could happen. In fact, there isn’t any. Kellen Mond has thrown at least one interception in every conference game except South Carolina. LSU has 16 interceptions on the season which is good for second most in the country (technically tied for No. 6).

So, what could possibly bring me to predict this? The first bold prediction. The Aggies will be able to run the ball very effectively and Fisher has learned not to push the envelope with his young quarterback. Mond won’t be asked to make a whole lot of dangerous throws, as he shouldn’t with Greedy Williams and Grant Delpit waiting for the first hint of a mistake to make Mond pay.

Fisher has preached situational football, making smart decisions, and taking care of the football in his press conferences. It either has fallen on deaf ears and Mond is just going to do him, or he still has a ways to go in his development. Call it a hunch, but for whatever reason it feels like he will finally take care of the ball against a tough conference opponent.
