Defensive Linemen

5-star defensive tackle DeMarvin Leal
4-star defensive tackle Josh Ellison (commit, but not signed)
3-star defensive tackle Adarious Jones

Headlining this group is DeMarvin Leal, who was a major head-to-head win over Tom Herman for Fisher. The Aggie staff dominated Texas in the state, which speaks to how excellent Fisher is as a recruiter. This was his first full class, and was a year after Herman totally dominated in Texas.

When it’s all said and done, the Aggies will have five defensive lineman, maybe more, They currently have two hard commits that did not sign their letter of intent, but Ellison and Mowry are both expected to sign on National Signing Day in February.

4-star defensive end Derick Hunter
4-star defensive end Braedon Mowry*

Hunter was one of the stories of the day as he flipped his commitment from Florida State to Texas A&M. He’s a Top 300 recruit and a major win for Fisher given he is an out of state commitment, plus this will be a position that needs as much talent thrown at it as possible with other players graduating.

Position Grade: A+
