Trayveon Williams

Even though Trayveon Williams just finished putting up arguably the greatest individual running back season in school history — 1,760 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns and 278 receiving yards and a touchdown — there was still a sliver of hope he would return for one more year to improve his NFL Draft stock.

Williams was selected to the AP All American Third Team. He was named First Team All SEC and was unquestionably the best running back in the best conference in college football. You could make the argument his NFL draft stock won’t get higher.

The final nail on the coffin of him leaving was Williams busting out for 236 yards and three touchdowns in the Gator Bowl victory. In the process, Williams set the single season Aggie record for rushing yards, all-purpose yards, and 200-yard rushing games. His Aggie legacy is etched in stone.
