6. Tyrel Dodson – Mid to Late Rounds

There is almost no chance Dodson lasts to the undrafted free agency ranks after the draft. The Swiss Army knife, do-it-all linebacker was a force on the Aggie defense in each of the previous two seasons.

He played sparingly as a freshman, but exploded onto the scene as a true sophomore with a ridiculous stat line of 104 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks and three interceptions (returned one for a touchdown). While the numbers all dipped in 2018, those who watched the Aggies know how much of a weapon he was.

You saw that in full effect during the Gator Bowl, when Dodson picked off Ryan Finley and returned it for a touchdown to completely swing the momentum.

Like most of the linebacker and secondary players for the Aggies, Dodson could stand to improve his pass coverage ability. He will be asked to cover running backs and tight ends at the next level. He possesses the speed necessary to do so, and the Senior Bowl could be his opportunity to prove his worth there.
