DT Justin Madubuike

This is the player I’m most confident will declare for the NFL Draft after the 2019 season, mostly because he’s the most talented player on the roster and could get some All American buzz if he continues to improve. Madubuike didn’t just prove he belonged in the SEC on one of the best defensive line’s in the country last year, he has also won Defensive MVP of Spring three years running. He is passionate about getting better and has all the tools to make it at the next level.

Madubuike was always destined for greatness. He’s got an incredible work ethic and came to Aggieland as the No. 56 overall recruit from the 2016 class. He didn’t get much of a chance to show that off until the 2018 season, but he’s already considered among the best defensive lineman returning for the 2019 season in the SEC which is known for its elite play in the trenches. He finished with 40 tackles,10.5 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, five quarterback hurries, and three forced fumbles last season.

Madubuike is without question the best player on defense returning. He will be on every media outlet’s preseason All-SEC team and any that don’t will be wrong. There’s a good chance he could be a first or second round prospect, and that would be hard for him to turn away.
