The Texas A&M Football team has a lot to uncover during spring football this season. Most importantly, the quarterback position will be undergoing one of its most intense position battles in recent memory.

Beyond that, there are a couple more positions that will be looking to fill a gap. Most notably, the offensive line will have a new look in 2021, while the team will also be looking for an inside linebacker and defensive tackle as they move forward.

But while the positions that are undergoing change will be under the spotlight, there will be some drama at the more secure spots on this roster.

Three key Texas A&M Football players will miss spring ball

The first of these three players is somebody who has already been talked about on Gig’Em Gazette. As perhaps the most physically talented receiver to enter the Aggies football program this decade, Demond Demas came with a lot of hype.

But there has been some baggage attached to the wideout.

He was slow to adjust to the Aggies’ complex system, and as a result, he rode the bench during his entire freshman season. In the off-season, he would be arrested for having microscopic amounts of cannabis in a backpack. Because of this, he was shortly suspended from the university but will be back for spring ball at some point.

It’s unclear if he missed any time but based on the timeline, he likely was unable to practice with the team during the early days of spring ball. He will return and likely make an appearance in the spring game at the end of April.

The other two guys on this list weren’t as lucky.
