The Texas A&M Football team has a defensive unit that has stayed relatively intact. That’s good news for an Aggies team that heavily relied on defense in their 2020 campaign. They had the best defense in the SEC and will look to repeat in that aspect.
Offensively though, this team didn’t put up eye-popping numbers. In fact, by the standards of the SEC, it was a pretty lackluster unit. And that lackluster unit will not be improving — at least not on paper.
While this offense is losing four of their offensive lineman, they will retain a single member of that unit in Kenyon Green, who earned All-American honors last season. They’ll also have to replace a quarterback. That said, they may rely on the experience members of this team. That means the runningbacks.

In 2020, the Aggies’ run game seemed pretty simple. Hand the ball off to Isaiah Spiller and his 5.5 yards per carry will guide this team to an efficient day on the ground. But as the season progressed, a new face popped up for the Aggies.
That face was Devon Achane, a guy who can step up as the Aggies’ best runningback. Here are 3 reasons why Achane will be a star in 2021.
