When you’re talking about Texas A&M Football, Johnny Manziel will go down as the best quarterback in Aggies’ history. In fact, he’ll likely go down as one of the best quarterbacks in college football history.

In just two seasons wearing the maroon and white, Manziel threw for 63 touchdowns, 22 interceptions, and added 30 touchdowns on the ground. He was an unstoppable force in College Station and changed the expectation at the quarterback spot.

But at the NFL level, things would be different. Johnny Football was drafted to the Cleveland Browns, instantly setting him back a step. Rather than his on-field play, his career would be clouded by drama and snarky comments from teammates.

It would never pan out, leading Manziel down a different path for the remainder of his career.

Former Texas A&M Football quarterback Johnny Manziel is still playing football

It would be a shame for a player with the level of talent that Manziel has to not be playing football. Say what you want about him at the professional level — he was clearly one of the most naturally gifted quarterbacks in the history of the game. Not to mention, he brings a huge level of entertainment value to the field.

That said, Manziel hasn’t been sitting on his couch since his days in the NFL.

Believe it or not, Manziel has played football almost every year since departing the Texas A&M Football program to take on the NFL Draft. His NFL career was short-lived, but he has bounced around quite a few other leagues.
