The Texas A&M Football team will get another shot at beating Alabama

The Alabama Football team, led by Nick Saban, has owned the Texas A&M Football team in recent years. It’s not just A&M though, the Crimson Tide have manhandled almost every team in the SEC in the past decade. They’ve been one of the most well-oiled machines as a program that college football has ever seen.

That said, this could be the year that the Aggies flip the script.

Alabama will come in as ESPN FPI’s top-rated team. This was expected, as they’re coming off yet another National Championship year.

Unlike normal ‘Bama teams, Nick Saban’s squad wasn’t elite defensively in 2020. They were led by an offense with unforeseen firepower. That said, this offense will lose three offensive linemen and their starting quarterback. They’ll also be losing their top runningback and wide receiver, so the Crimson Tide will have their work cut out for them this offseason.

If the Aggies will ever have a chance to top Alabama, this is the year.

The Aggies offense will also need some work, but an experienced receiving core could eat an Alabama secondary, who lost an All-American cornerback, alive.

Make no mistake, this game will fully determine the outcome of the Aggies 2021 season. If they want to make the College Football Playoff, they must win this game.
