Texas A&M Football’s all-time quarterbacks, No. 10-8

10. Kevin Murray: Gosh, the name Murray sure sounds familiar, doesn’t it? Almost as if Kevin Murray is somehow related to Kyler Murray. If you haven’t already guessed it, that’s exactly what’s going on his. Kevin Murray is Kyler Murray’s dad, and he had a strong career as Texas A&M’s quarterback from 1983-1986. The first Murray may not have reached the heights that his son would in the future, but he had a respectable career with the Aggies, passing for 6,500 yards and 48 touchdown passes.

9. Reggie McNeal: Reggie McNeal was a dual-threat quarterback before it was cool to be a dual-threat quarterback. At this point in time, defenses didn’t know how to defend agile quarterbacks, allowing McNeal to be one of the most electrifying players in college football. He’d accumulate 6,992 yards in the air and nearly 2,000 rushing yards in his career.

8. Kyle Allen: A lot of people may believe that Kyle Allen should be higher on this list, but I think there’s some recency bias going on there. That said, Allen was an incredible quarterback for the Texas A&M Football team. Allen had a short, but extremely efficient career with the Aggies before transferring out of the program along with Kyler Murray. He had two great seasons as the starter though, finishing out his A&M career with a 2,210 yard, 17 touchdown, 7 interception season.
