Texas A&M Football’s all-time quarterbacks, No. 3-1

3. Gary Kubiak: Gary Kubiak won’t be remembered as a Texas A&M Football player. Instead, he’ll likely be remembered as the head coach of the Houston Texans. That said, he was one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play in College Station, passing for over 4,000 yards and 31 touchdowns. This, believe it or not, was an impressive career stat line for a quarterback in the late 70s and early 80s.

2. Ryan Tannehill: Ryan Tannehill was probably the most unexpected success story on this list of players. The former college wide receiver-turned NFL star quarterback was never supposed to be an all-time great at Texas A&M. But he was. Most impressively, Tannehill completed 62.5% of his passes as the Aggies’ quarterback, adding 42 touchdowns and 5,450 yards in just two years as the starter. He is now one of the better quarterbacks at the NFL level.

1. Johnny Manziel: What is there that hasn’t already been said about Johnny Football? He’s not just one of the best Texas A&M quarterbacks of all time — he’s one of the greatest college football quarterbacks to ever play. He won the Heisman and followed it up with an arguably better season, cementing his name forever in college football history. Say what you want about his off-the-field antics, but he was one of the most naturally gifted players to ever set foot on a football field.
