Texas A&M Football: Early game-by-game predictions for 2021
Texas A&M Football opponent No. 11: Prairie View A&M Panthers
Phew, the Aggies just took down the Auburn Tigers and the Ole Miss Rebels. They’re only a couple of weeks away from facing the 2019 national Championship LSU Tigers. But there’s one team standing in their way.
The Prairie View A&M Panthers.
On a serious note, this should be a pretty easy win for the Aggies. The Praire View A&M Panthers play in the FCS, and to be blunt, they’re not even one of the better teams in the FCS. If the Aggies didn’t win this game, it would be a historic upset. But that shouldn’t be a concern.
Prairie View plays in the Southwestern Athletic Conference. Last year, they only played in three games, going 2-1 and finishing third in the west division. To clarify, that’s third place in the west division of the Southwestern Athletic Conference. At the risk of sounding arrogant, this is as easy of a game as an SEC team could ask for.
This should be one of the bigger blowouts in recent memory for Texas A&M and anything short of a 4-score victory will be looked at as a disappointment.
That said, they’ll still have to prepare for this team, but will be given a nice break from a brutal SEC schedule. The Aggies should take care of business and receive a confidence boost going into the final week of the regular season.
Prediction: Win, 10-1
