The Texas A&M Football team will look to start the season on a strong note

Because the first few games are matchups that the Texas A&M Football team, I’ll be putting them together on a single slide. That said, the beginning of the schedule will have a huge learning curve for an A&M Football team that is replacing a lot of talent offensively. These two games will tell us a ton about who this team is offensively.

Game 1, Kent State Golden Flashes: The Aggies will kick off their season with a home game against the Kent State Golden Flashes. In every way, this should be a game that the Aggies should win, as the Golden Flashes are a MAC team that only played four games last season. The sample size was small last season, but Kent State allowed 38 points per game, so this should be a good confidence booster for whoever takes over the quarterback position. Expect the Aggies to win in blowout fashion.

Prediction: Win, 1-0

Game 2, @ Colorado Buffaloes: This is, in every way, a trap game for the Texas A&M Football team. The Aggies will take on the Colorado Buffaloes in Boulder and shouldn’t take this one lightly. After Mel Tucker left the Buffaloes for a bag at Michigan State, they were expected to have an awful season under Karl Dorrell. That said, Dorrell brought them to a 4-2 record after a 4-game winning streak to start the season. Texas A&M should win this one, but don’t be surprised if they have some trouble.

Prediction: Win, 2-0
