Texas A&M Football WR Shadrach Banks may find a home elsewhere in the SEC

Back to the negative side of things, this will most likely not be the last the Aggies see of Shadrach Banks. In high school, his offer sheet was filled from top to bottom with division one schools. More specifically, he had a handful of offers from SEC schools who will likely reach out to him now that he’s in the transfer portal.

His offer list is long, but here’s a breakdown of some SEC schools that had gone after the talented wide receiver out of North Shore.

  • Alabama
  • Arkansas
  • Auburn
  • LSU
  • Ole Miss
  • Mississippi State

That’s nearly half of the SEC and a couple of the schools listed were recruiting him hard. Since he entered the transfer portal as a freshman, these schools will likely still have the same need that they did at wideout when they recruited Banks.

If he does end up officially transferring out of College Station, don’t expect that to be the last we see of Banks. There could be a few reunions on the horizon, specifically with fellow SEC teams.

Hopefully, he’s not one for revenge, as the Aggies’ defense has a reputation to maintain.
