Texas A&M Football uniform No. 2: “Aggie Nights” 2015

Your eyes do not deceive you. That’s Kyler Murray wearing one of the greatest Aggie football uniforms in school history. Oh, what could have been. Unfortunately, Murray would transfer out after losing the starting job, which wasn’t a huge loss at the time. During his time in College Station, he would get to wear these beautiful uniforms.

It almost seems wrong not to have these at the one spot, but the top uniform of the past decade cannot be topped. That said, this was still an elite look for the Texas A&M Football team.

The design team did a great job with these. They’re extremely bold, but not over the top in any way at all. The black helmet has a Texas A&M logo that is barely visible, which is perfectly on par with the blackout look they were going for.

From head to toe, the uniform is all black with a scaly texture to it. Again, this is hardly visible by design, as the uniforms look jet black upon first glance. That said, they maintain the bold white lettering so that you can see the number on the uniform.

It was rumored that these helmets glowed in the dark. First of all, this wasn’t true — the helmets were reflective, which is nothing close to glow in the dark. Secondly, even if they were glow-in-the-dark, nobody would know because they were used for an 11 AM kickoff.

Regardless, these will go down as some of the best uniforms in the history of the SEC. But not better than our number one.
