Former Texas A&M Football punter Braden Mann’s career is off to an electric start

It may seem ridiculous to put a punter on this list, but Braden Mann isn’t just any punter. The former Aggie will be entering his second year in the league and he’s already considered one of the best punters in the league.

Mann came to College Station as the second-best kicker in the country according to Rivals. When it comes to kickers and punters, he was as highly-touted as one can get at the high school level. In college, he would only improve.

He’d quickly become arguably the best special teams player in the country, earning a unanimous All-American nod and a Ray Guy Award, which recognizes the best punter in the country. He’d stick around with the Aggies for another season, earning another First-Team All-SEC honor before leaving for the NFL Draft.

He’d be picked up in the 6th round by the New York Jets, a team that desperately needed a punter. Right away, he’d be an impact player for the Jets, where he would lead the league in punting yards in his first year in the league. He also punted the ball more than any other player in the league, giving him valuable experience in his first season.

We’ll be hearing about Mann in the league for a long time, so even though he plays a more under-the-radar position, he is one of the most exciting young Aggies in the league.
