The Texas A&M Football team is actually returning a large amount of talent all over the field. With most of the defense remaining intact from a legendary 2020 season, the Aggies should be competitive once again when fall rolls around.

But there’s one extremely important position group that will be extremely inexperienced in 2021. The offensive line.

The Texas A&M Football team had an incredible defense in 2020. Some would even consider it to be the best defense in school history. Even so, that defense didn’t compare to the prowess that the offensive line saw during an abnormal season.

Texas A&M Football’s offensive line was elite in 2020

The unit was a finalist for the Joe Moore award, opening up gap after gap for Isaiah Spiller to run free without any issues. They allowed Kellen Mond all of the time in the world to get his passes off, helping the veteran Aggie quarterback become a third-round draft pick.

Most of all, they helped their own chances of reaching the NFL, with the four departing members of that squad either being drafted to the NFL or signing as an undrafted free agent immediately after the 2021 NFL Draft.

The best part? Perhaps the most talented member of this unit is returning to the Texas A&M Football team in 2021.

That said, there will be a lot of work to do for Jimbo Fisher and his offensive staff in finding the right guys to fill in for such a talented departing unit. Thus far, our best information about the offensive line comes from the Aggies’ Coaches Night.

So without further ado, here is an early offensive line projection for the 2021 season.
