Texas A&M Football’s offensive line will be headlined by LT Kenyon Green

Left Tackle, Kenyon Green: You know how I mentioned that the Aggies’ best offensive lineman from 2020 stuck around for another year? That player will be Kenyon Green, a left tackle who will be moving over from the guard spot.

Green has the perfect build for an offensive lineman in the SEC. He’s 6-4, 330 lbs with the build to play anywhere on the offensive line. And the staff showed his versatility when they played him at the guard position for his first couple of seasons in College Station.

But now that there are a few more holes to fill on this offensive line, Jimbo Fisher wanted his best guy covering his first-year starting quarterback’s blindside. That’s exactly why he put a former 5-star high school recruit in the left tackle position for 2021.

When looking at the team as a whole, Green is likely the most talented player on this entire roster. He is already projected as an early first-round draft pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, and barring a complete disaster of a season, he should be able to fill those shoes.

There won’t be a lot of confidence surrounding this offensive line in 2021, but at least the quarterback’s blindside will be safe.
