The Texas A&M Football team has one of the most exciting defensive prospects for 2022

It’s an interesting thing — the Aggies defense is supposed to step up as the team’s best unit since… well, ever. With the amount of returning production from last season and the sheer talent on this defense, the sky is the limit. And with Jimbo Fisher in charge, this team has always been among the defensive leaders in the SEC.

That said, there is only a single prospect who is considered at the top of his position group. That player is DeMarvin Leal.

Leal is one of those players that just has the “it” factor. His numbers haven’t been outwardly impressive, but he was an extremely highly-touted recruit at the high school level, and even with a strong start to his career, it seems like he is nowhere close to his ceiling as a player.

With a couple of defensive departures, he could step up as a superstar for this Texas A&M Football team in the 2021 season.

Right now, Leal is listed as Mel Kiper’s second-best defensive end prospect in the country. This is mainly due to his limitless potential, as he is one of the most NFL-ready defensive ends at a school that has produced strong talent at that position in the past.
