The Texas A&M Football team is getting ready for another strong season in 2021 after competing at the top of college football last season. The Aggies fell just short of the College Football Playoff but had the committee gotten another shot to select the teams, Texas A&M would have been in, no question about it.

Instead, they’ll look to make a push for their first playoff appearance in the coming season, where they’ll have a handful of returning talent on both sides of the ball.

National media is starting to recognize that this team is within striking distance of elite status, and as a result, they’re the current face of Texas college football.

The Texas A&M Football team made the cover of Dave Campbell’s Texas Football magazine

On Friday, Dave Campbell’s Texas Football released its cover, which featured four players who will be key contributors for Jimbo Fisher this coming season. The cover can be seen below.

The most notable player was DeMarvin Leal, who is projected to be an early first-round pick with no limit to his potential. He hasn’t even sniffed his ceiling yet, so 2021 could be an exciting year where he shocks the football world.

Also shown is Micheal Clemons, who will be entering his 6th year of college football. He’ll look to step up as a leader for this Aggie team. Opposing teams have likely noticed how muscular and all-around terrifying he looks. He should be an enforcer for this TAMU Football team in 2021.

Continuing around, you’ll come across Myles Jones, an experienced cornerback who will be one of the leaders of this team’s secondary. While he may not be the most talented corner, he knows the game better than any of his counterparts. He should be a huge piece for the Aggies and help Jaylon Jones develop into the superstar that he can become.

Finally, you’ll see Demani Richardson, a player who has been extremely consistent in his two seasons in Aggieland. Richardson has put up numbers all across the board, recording over 100 tackles, 3 for loss, a half-sack, 2 interceptions, 2 pass deflections, and a forced fumble in just two seasons on this team. He’s a swiss-army knife in the secondary.

Reportedly, the only sure-shot player to add to the cover was DeMarvin Leal. For the rest of the players, the magazine asked the Aggies’ coaching staff about who should be on there.

Right now, the Aggies’ defense is the gold standard for Texas football. Now, all they have to do is go out on the field and prove it in the upcoming season.
