Chris Marshall is a high 4-star wide receiver with the physical tools to be an elite college football player

It’s easy to forget how rare certain physical attributes are, but every so often, a player will come around to remind you. A couple of years ago, that player was Demond Demas. In the 2022 class, that player is Chris Marshall, a 6-3, 195-pound wide receiver from Missouri City, Texas.

Marshall is naturally a basketball player, not taking the field in a football uniform until his junior year, giving him just a single year of experience thus far. That said, he has been good enough to nearly crack the top-100 players in his class.

This was further proven when he was named the District 11-5A-II Offensive MVP as a junior which, again, was his first season playing football.

Watching his film, it’s clear that he’s physically ready to play college football, even as a junior in high school. The quarterback’s job seems easy — throw the ball to Marshall and watch the cornerback fail to defend the 6-3 wideout.

He may take a while to warm up to a complicated offensive system in College Station but the wideout has all of the physical tools anybody could ask for.

He should be one of this team’s top offensive priorities, as TAMU will likely have a lot of turnover at the wide receiver position over the next couple of seasons.
