2022 Texas A&M Football prospect Bear Alexander lives up to the name his parents gave him

One of the most exciting prospects for the Aggies’ 2022 class, trending in their direction or otherwise, is Bear Alexander.

The defensive tackle out of Forth Worth, Texas is one of the best players at his position and a 5-star recruit. At 6-3, 325 pounds, this defensive tackle moves extremely well for his size, with a quick burst and strong pursuit capabilities.

If Jimbo Fisher is unable to fill Bobby Brown III’s role in 2021, this is a player who could step into that spot immediately. As one of the highest-rated Aggie targets for 2022, this should be a player that TAMU is putting a lot of resources into.

Alexander is another player with an extremely impressive offer sheet, holding offers from Alabama, Florida, Miami, Auburn, LSU, Michigan, and, notably, Georgia. He was committed to the Bulldogs originally but decommitted earlier this month and now looks like a swing toward Texas A&M.

In terms of having confidence for any specific player to commit to the Aggies soon, this is the guy. He may be one of the first players that the Aggies recruited well based on in-person recruiting, as he decommitted from Georgia after visiting both schools in succession.
