Going into this season, the Texas A&M Football team will be a very experienced squad but also has many positions that will need leadership fast. A large part of what makes college football fun is the upsets and when the mighty fall to a team that had no business beating them. (Not for A&M but other teams it is fun to watch).

This, in many cases, can be considered a trap game. If you don’t know what a trap game is, here’s how PFF defines it.

"A trap game is defined in a variety of ways, but it essentially boils down to a high-ranked team playing in a game that everyone expects them to win against a far lesser opponent (not necessarily a losing team)."

There are a few teams that are placed on the A&M scheduled that I am worried more about the weeks they fall on rather than the team.

With that in mind, there are many kinds of upsets that happen — the ones I am picking today are teams that can be overlooked or a team that offers a unique environment that unless you’re on the west coast you will probably not be used to.

Here are 3 potential trap games on the Texas A&M Football team’s 2021 schedule.
