The Texas A&M football team takes on the Alabama Crimson Tide at home this Saturday at Kyle Field. This is no longer the game of the year, but it’s still a matchup worth keeping an eye on.

At the end of the day, the Aggies have nothing to lose. They won’t be favored in their matchup against the Crimson Tide, but they’ll have a chip on their shoulders. In the spookiest month of the year, virtually anything could happen on Saturday night.

Here are three bold predictions for Texas A&M’s home game vs. Alabama.

Bold Prediction No. 1: The Texas A&M football team will keep it close

I can’t sit here and predict a win for the Texas A&M football team. No matter how big of a fan you are, that would simply be ill-informed. That said, there is reason to believe that this game will be extremely close. Here’s why.

The Crimson Tide have only played one game this season that can be considered a close one. That game was against the Florida Gators, who lost by just two points to Nick Saban and company.

Florida was the most talented team that the Tide played throughout the season, ranked 7th in 247Sports’ composite rankings. Guess who’s ranked 8th? That’s right, it’s the Texas A&M football team.

Say what you want about these teams’ performances in 2021 — A&M will be the second-most talented team that ‘Bama plays all season long. A lot of this talent is missing with injuries, but the Aggies can still match up with the Tide physically.
