Bold Prediction No. 2: Texas A&M football RB Isaiah Spiller will have another huge game

It took him a while to get going, but Isaiah Spiller is finally hitting his stride in the 2021 season. The Aggie runningback has accumulated at least 89 total yards in each of Texas A&M’s last five games. This includes three 100+ yard rushing performances and some strong receiving work as well.

The Aggie back exposed the last bad rushing defense the Aggies were pinned up against in Missouri, so why shouldn’t he be able to do it against South Carolina. The next point will be even more convincing.

Do you remember when I mentioned the Gamecocks’ 34th-ranked defensive unit? Turns out, they haven’t been defending the run, as they allow 151.3 rushing yards per game. That ranks below average at 74th nationally.

Momentum is a real thing, and just as the Aggies used the momentum that they built against Alabama against Missouri, they’ll use their continued momentum against South Carolina. Expect big games out of both runningbacks on Saturday.
