Texas A&M Football: 3 2022 5-star prospects that could commit to Aggies
Texas A&M Football, 5-Star 2022 Prospect No. 3: DL Walter Nolen
Finally, we have a picture of the player that I’m referring to. What you’ll see in the photo above and the featured image of this post is the top-rated prospect in the entirety of the 2022 class. Well, technically that depends on where you look, but I’m calling him the top-rated prospect.
At 6’4″ and 325 pounds, the mega-sized defensive lineman out of Powell High School in Tennessee is another example of somebody who could step onto the scene at the college level and fit right in.
Nolen is being heavily recruited by virtually any school in the SEC that wants a chance at winning. This includes Tennessee, Texas A&M, Alabama, Georgia, and Florida, among others. 247Sports doesn’t have anybody listed as a favorite at the present moment.
Nolen is extremely athletic and still has room to grow, but neither of those things are his strongest trait. That honor would go to his high motor, which keeps him around for virtually any play. This is something that can be rare to find among guys as talented and physically dominant as Nolen.
The 5-star prospect visited Aggieland earlier this month and has Texas A&M in his top-3. If Jimbo Fisher could secure a commitment from this one, his class could receive a huge boost.
The best part? This isn’t even the entire list of possible 5-star commitments that Jimbo Fisher could secure in the 2022 class.
