The Texas A&M football team has played eight games of football, but none of those compare in importance to the Aggies’ final four contests. In a stretch of football that could determine the Aggies’ fate in 2021, Texas A&M will look to play its best football.

With momentum at their back following three straight wins, this team will need its top players to step up. The Aggies have contests against two top-16 teams in Ole Miss and Auburn in the next two weeks, so it’ll be a telling stretch for A&M.

In this stretch, a handful of players could see their stock rise significantly. Today, I’m going over three players whose stock could rise drastically in November.

Texas A&M Football Stock Watch, Player No. 1: TE Jalen Wydermyer

Before the 2021 season, Jalen Wydermyer seemed like a favorite to be Haynes King’s top target — at least in the red zone. That said, Haynes King went down with a leg injury, and the passing game as a whole looks discombobulated.

As a result, Wydermyer wasn’t getting the targets that many expected him to. Still, the Aggie tight end leads the team in receiving yards after a 75-yard, two-touchdown performance against South Carolina.

After a slow start, this marked his second performance in three games with at least 70 yards and a touchdown. I expect this momentum to help him in the Aggies’ most important month of the year.

Wydermyer’s stock should continue to rise throughout the month — even his NFL Draft stock should skyrocket in the near future.
