These three defensive prospects could commit to the Texas A&M football team soon

CB Denver Harris: Texas A&M’s current 2022 class only has a single quarterback commit. Thankfully, five-star cornerback Denver Harris has been trending in the direction of the Aggies as of late.

While Harris doesn’t have tested athleticism, he’s the prototypical size for an elite cornerback. He has great instincts and has earned offers from virtually any school imaginable. With just a single cornerback currently in this class, Harris would likely get more playing time in College Station than anywhere else.

The Aggies are in a recruiting battle with Texas for the third-ranked corner in the 2022 class.

DE Enai White: I actually haven’t spoken about Enai White in a long time — probably because he’s an out-of-state recruit from Philly. That said, the 6’5″, 230-pound defensive end could be a huge immediate contributor for an A&M team that will be losing a pair of edge rushers this season.

White is a high four-star recruit and considered the third-best edge rusher by 247Sports’ Composite Rankings. While White has a ways to go technique-wise, he’s learning quickly and already has the prerequisite athleticism that cannot be taught.

The Aggies are a favorite to land White right now with three crystal ball predictions for A&M.

LB Harold Perkins: Harold Perkins is a prospect that I have spoken about… a lot. The Texas A&M football team just seems like one of those schools that should have a great linebacker. Von Miller set the precedent in Aggieland over a decade ago and Perkins could be the next in line.

Perkins is the fifth-overall prospect in the 2022 class and the best linebacker of his year. He recently leapfrogged A&M commit Evan Stewart in 247Sports’ rankings. He’s a freak athlete who played in the Under Armor All-American game and should be able to play relatively early for a linebacker.
