Two young linemen will finally find an opportunity to shine for the Texas A&M football team in 2022

Reuben Fatheree (OL): Reuben Fatheree is a young player who benefitted from the Texas A&M football team having a banged-up offensive line throughout the entire season. The rising sophomore offensive tackle made nine starts in 2021 and all things considered, did a strong job for the Aggies.

He’ll return as an experienced SEC lineman with plenty of room to grow. The A&M offensive lineman earned Freshman All-American honors in 2021. If he can stay healthy, which he should, Fatheree could be a key piece on this offensive line.

Shemar Turner (DL): Shemar Turner (not to be confused with 2022 target Shemar Stewart) was one of the most exciting Aggie commitments in a while. The five-star defensive lineman looks like DeMarvin Leal 2.0 at 6’4″ with the versatility to play virtually any defensive line position.

Turner played sparingly, seeing action in seven games, but recorded 2.0 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, and 14 total tackles. Expect those numbers to rise drastically in 2021, a year that will see the departure of three key defensive linemen for DJ Durkin’s defensive line.
