These two incoming Texas A&M football freshmen could have an immediate impact on this football team

Walter Nolen (DL): Even though there are a handful of interior defensive linemen ready to step into the spotlight, it would be hard to see a world where Walter Nolen, the second-highest-rated player in the 2022 class, didn’t see his fair share of snaps.

Nolen was an absolute animal at the high school level, recording 97 total tackles, 28 for loss, 17 sacks, four forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries in 2021 alone. Trust me, this is a guy who will see success at Texas A&M.

Evan Stewart (WR): If Walter Nolen wasn’t in the 2022 class, Evan Stewart would have been the team’s highest-rated signee in over a decade. Still, his value cannot and should not be diminished in regard to the 2022 season.

The soon-to-be Aggie wideout has solid size at 6’0″ with elite athleticism to go along with it. In high school, he was also a track star, so his speed should translate to the field at the college level. He’ll join a group of A&M pass-catchers that struggled to really become dominant with Zach Calzada under center. Stewart could join this group and instantly make an impact.

When all is said and done, Stewart could have the biggest impact as a freshman out of all players in the 2022 class.
