These two five-star Texas A&M football prospects are the best at their position in the 2023 class

LB Anthony Hill (5-star): Anthony Hill is the best linebacker in the 2023 class. After recently losing the top linebacker in the 2022 class, the Texas A&M football team will learn to jump on this bandwagon sooner rather than later.

Hill is a 6’2″, 225-pound speedy defender whose tackles have been described as “violent” by Gabe Brooks, a 247Sports’ recruiting expert. He hits hard, blitzes fast, and plays smart at the high school level. With some key departures at the second level on defense for Texas A&M, the Aggies will assuredly make Hill a top priority in the 2023 class.

DL David Hicks (5-star): David Hicks is essentially the Walter Nolen of his class, respectively. If you’re unfamiliar, Nolen is the Aggies’ prized signee in the 2022 class, ranked as the second-best player in his class and the top defensive lineman in the country.

Technically speaking, Hicks is the second-highest-ranked defensive lineman in his class but his talent is undeniable. The 6’4″, 250-pound DL out of Allen, Texas could jump into immediately playing time, even on an extremely talented defensive line in Aggieland.

If Jimbo Fisher wants to continue his hot streak at the position, there’s nowhere else to look outside of hicks. A commitment from this player would send a message to the SEC in recruiting.
