#18 Miami

Welcome back to the polls Miami! There is a lot of hype around the program regarding a complete overhaul of new coaches. I have been hearing The U will be back. If there is one thing I think about when I see this coming up again is in Back to the Future when Marty McFly says “Hey I’ve seen this one before!”.

With new coaches and a rejuvenated team, it seems as if Miami will finally have a chance to win the ACC. The ACC is wide open this year as the competition is average at best. But will Miami finally get over the hump? I do not think so.

They have proven time and time again the talent is there but something just never clicks. A&M will be put to the test when the Hurricanes come to College Station. I do believe the amount of hype that is going to go into that game will seem like a make-or-break game for both teams. As I predicted, I think A&M will walk out with a win, I see Miami slipping up at either UNC or Virginia Tech, then they will follow up going 2-2 versus FSU, Clemson, Georgia Tech, and Pitt.

Like I said I have seen it before with the preseason hype in Coral Gables. Time and time again they have been the 6-6 or 8-4 team. We will find out soon enough if it will be any different this time around.
